The L&D program covered various aspects of casting processes, including Flake Grade (FG), Spheroidal Grade (SG), and Malleable Grade (MG) casting, along with different green sand molding techniques like pit molding, hand molding, jolt squeeze, and high-pressure molding. It also explored core-making methods such as CO2, No Bake, Cold Box, Shell Core, and Loramendi. Participants were introduced to zero-based costing, focusing on capital, molten metal, green box, and core costs per kilogram. The session included live projects and case studies to provide hands-on experience and concluded with a summary and Q&A session.
